The Production Manager
- Fabrication is a senior management role responsible for directing and coordinating all fabrication divisions:
- Sheet Metal Fabrication (including Powder Coating)
- Painting Section
- Steel Fabrication (Generator Canopies, Base Skids & Structures)
- Diesel Tank Manufacturing (Cylindrical & Rectangular) The Manager will focus on strategic planning, production programming, manpower optimization, machine reliability, and cost reduction. He will oversee section supervisors and ensure effective reporting, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement across all production areas.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Operational Management
- Develop and implement production strategies, work plans, and schedules for all fabrication divisions.
- Monitor performance reports and KPIs from section heads, ensuring targets are met.
- Align production capacity with company goals, client requirements, and cost objectives. Division Oversight
- Sheet Metal Fabrication & Powder Coating: Approve and monitor production programs, ensuring efficiency and quality compliance.
- Painting Section: Review work plans, quality benchmarks, and adherence to safety/environmental standards.
- Steel Fabrication: Oversee production of generator canopies, skids, and related structures through coordination with design/engineering teams.
- Diesel Tank Manufacturing: Ensure tanks meet international standards through cost-effective and reliable production practices. Planning & Resource Management
- Lead production programming, manpower allocation, and workload distribution across divisions.
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment, minimizing downtime.
- Optimize resources to achieve maximum productivity at reduced costs. Quality & Process Development
- Set quality standards and ensure compliance across all fabrication operations.
- Implement lean manufacturing practices, waste reduction, and efficiency improvements.
- Recommend new technologies, processes, and tools to modernize operations. Leadership & Reporting
- Provide leadership to supervisors and section heads, fostering accountability and teamwork.
- Define clear reporting structures and monitor progress through structured KPIs.
- Present regular performance, cost, and production reports to senior management.
- Promote a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous improvement. Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Management, or a related field. (Master’s Degree preferred)
- Minimum 10+ years of progressive experience in fabrication and production management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven expertise in sheet metal fabrication, welding, powder coating, painting, and diesel tank manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of production programming, lean manufacturing, and cost reduction strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to manage diverse teams and large-scale production operations. Key Skills & Competencies
