Job Purpose

Responsible for managing the network security, compliance and integrity of all systems, working

in conjunction with IT Infrastructure and IT Support Teams.

Core duties and

responsibilities

Service Delivery
- Identify documentation and reporting policy and procedure discrepancies and/or

change requests
- Deploy security standards, network security designs, manage security operations,

establish best practices and support operational challenges and critical issues within the

timelines and SLA’s
- Conduct periodic network security and configuration reviews and remediate to ensure

closure/risk acceptance of all gaps
- Manage outsourced security operations team, dashboards, reports and ensure all

identified risks are mitigated and corrected
- Document present network environmental including device mapping, VLAN attributes,

and security protocol implementations and maintain future documentation throughout

the infrastructure changes
- Conduct trainings and prepare weekly and monthly security reports

Process and Operations
- Ensure compliance of IT Security policies and procedures
- Manage firewalls, IPS/IDS, Web Firewall, VPN, web security gateway, vulnerability

solutions
- Monitor and log security concerns and incidents, generate reports, track performance,

provide fault resolution and timely escalation
- Develop security requirements to protect the company from external and internal

threats
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with NAT/NAC/DNS/DCHP, configure access lists and

routing, network traffic using appropriate tools
- Analyse and implement secure networking techniques by optimising network

architectureFinance
- Prepare and manage budgets for network and security solutions

Customer Focus
- Guide other IT teams for internal and external audits, periodic VA/PT and new solutions
- Initiate, facilitate and promote cybersecurity within the organisation and monitor

adherence to cybersecurity policies, standards and controls
- Participate in audit management and tracking remediation through to completion
- Develop strong collaborative working relationships with internal customers and external

vendors

Compliance
- Ensure all services provided by the function are compliant with the CBUAE and WSE

policies & procedures.
- Create a supportive environment whereby employees are able to raise concerns

surrounding compliance and risk related issues, either directly or through the
- Raise awareness within the team and wider organisation of our employee responsibility

in working in a risk free and compliant manner.
- Ensure all employees attend risk and compliance awareness programmes during the

course of their employment whether it is as part of the on-boarding process or the annual

refresher training.

Knowledge &

**Skills**:
Essential

Firewalls - Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA

Web Application Firewalls, F5 & Imperva

Vulnerability assessment and penetration testing tools

Hands on experience with network monitoring, troubleshooting using Wireshark,

solar winds and riverbed

Enterprise Network design and implementation

Data Centre Core Layer, access layer, aggregation layer and services layer

Configuration, monitoring and troubleshooting failover, DMZ zoning & configuring

VLAN’s/routing/NAT

Routing and Switching concepts, SD-Wan design and bandwidth optimization

platforms

Security methodologies, policies, standards and industry practices

Preferred

Enterprise and technology risk management

Experience in financial institutes or banking environment

ISO 27001 certified PCI environments

Firewalls ISMS, Cobit, PCI and cloud security standards

Windows (Server 2008,2012,2016 Windows 7/10) & Unix Linux, AIX operating

systems

Educational

**Qualifications**:
Bachelor's degree in information or computer science, or a related major, or equivalent

demonstrable work experience.

Professional

Certifications CCNA, CCIE, CCSA CCSE, CISSP, SSCP, ISO 7001, ITIL, Cobit, PCI-DSS, CCSK, CEH, CCSP

Relevant

Experience 5+ years’ experience network security administration & security operations

Language Skills Essential English

Preferred Multi Lingual written & SpokenStakeholders Internal:

External: Stakeholders, customers, vendors and partners

**Salary**: AED12,000.00 - AED19,000.00 per month
