Marine Fabricator

Prepare and organize materials, such as sheets, pipes, and structural components, for fabrication. Measure, cut and shape materials using a variety of tools, including saws, shears, and cutting torches.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to understand project requirements and dimensions. Execute fabrication tasks according to specifications.
- Conduct visual inspections of fabricated components to identify defects or irregularities. Make necessary adjustments or repairs to meet quality standards and specifications.
- Operate a variety of fabrication machinery and equipment, including bending machines, shears, presses, and grinders, to shape and finish components.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times. Maintain a safe and organized work area, and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
- Work closely with team members, such as welders, supervisors, and engineers, to ensure efficient and accurate fabrication. Communicate project progress and collaborate to address any challenges.
- Perform routine maintenance on fabrication equipment to ensure it operates effectively and safely. Report any equipment malfunctions or issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of fabrication work, including measurements, materials used, and inspection results. Complete paperwork and documentation related to fabrication tasks.

Previous experience in shipyard is preferable.

Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED1,800.00 per month
