Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure timely and accurate preparation, filing, and payment of all tax returns (VAT, corporate tax, etc.).
- Monitor compliance with UAE tax laws and regulations, staying updated on any changes or updates.
- Prepare and maintain detailed tax records and documentation to support tax filings.
- Generate regular tax reports and summaries for management review.
- Coordinate and compile information for tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities.
- Provide expert advice on tax planning and optimization strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
- Identify potential tax savings and ensure implementation of tax-efficient practices.
- Assist in the development and implementation of tax policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with internal departments (finance, legal, operations) to gather necessary information for tax filings and compliance.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities as required.
- Identify and assess potential tax risks, implementing measures to mitigate them.
- Conduct regular internal audits to ensure compliance with tax regulations and internal policies.
- Keep the finance team informed about changes in tax laws and regulations.
