**Job Description**:
The main purpose of a Technical Lead is to provide technical direction, leadership, and expertise to a team of software developers or engineers. It can be Technical Guidance, Code Review, Problem Solving, Knowledge Sharing and Mentorship.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide technical guidance and expertise to team members.
- Review and approve technical designs, code, and architecture.
- Creating a framework of technical standards and procedures.
- Analyzing existing operations to identify risks and redundancies.
- Designs features to enhance customer experience and interaction.
- Design and architect robust and scalable software solutions.
- Ensure that software solutions align with the organization's business goals and technical standards.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies or platforms for implementation.
- Writing progress reports and delivering presentations to the relevant stakeholders.
- Establish and enforce coding standards, testing procedures, and best practices.
- Perform code reviews to maintain code quality and reliability.
- Implement and champion software development methodologies like Agile or DevOps.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for technical issues and incidents.
- Develop and implement solutions to address technical challenges and system outages.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide career development guidance to team members.
- Identify training and skill development opportunities for team members.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a software developer or engineer, with hands-on expertise in relevant technologies.
- Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make critical technical decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies and project management practices.
- Familiarity with version control systems, build automation, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Lead and mentor a team of software developers and fostering a collaborative.
- Set clear expectations, delegate tasks, and provide ongoing feedback and coaching to team members.
- Possess strong technical knowledge and stay updated with Banking industry trends and emerging technologies e.g.NDC, DDC, Procash, ATM Switch, Protopas Web Extension & ISO 8583.
