**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Surveillance**: Maintain constant surveillance of patrons in the swimming area to ensure their safety. This includes scanning the water, enforcing rules, and responding to any emergencies swiftly.
- **Enforcement**: Enforce all facility rules and regulations to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with safety guidelines.
- **Rescue Operations**: Be prepared to perform water rescues and administer first aid or CPR as necessary. Maintain proficiency in rescue techniques and stay up-to-date on lifesaving practices.
- **Emergency Response**: Act promptly and decisively in emergency situations, including providing medical assistance, notifying appropriate authorities, and coordinating with other staff members.
- **Customer Service**: Provide excellent customer service by assisting patrons with inquiries, offering guidance on safety procedures, and creating a welcoming environment.
- **Maintenance**: Assist with the maintenance and cleanliness of the swimming area, including regular inspections of equipment and facilities.

**Qualifications**:

- Valid lifeguard certification from a recognized organization.
- CPR, First Aid, and AED certification.
- Strong swimming skills and physical fitness.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
- Prior experience as a lifeguard preferred.
- Knowledge of UAE safety regulations and protocols is advantageous.

**Work Environment**:
This position requires working outdoors in various weather conditions, including high temperatures. Lifeguards may need to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on the facility's schedule.
