Qc Inspector

Our client is a global leader in the Industrial machinery manufacturing sector. HQ in America. They serve two key markets, agriculture, and infrastructure, with seven different product divisions, including Utility, Lighting and Transportation, Telecom, Solar, Coatings, Irrigation, and Ag Tech. They manufacture products in 85 facilities across six continents while running a business in 22 different countries.

They are looking for **QC Inspector** who will be responsible for maintaining quality processes, testing, and inspecting products at various stages of the manufacturing process, analyzing data, and recommending improvements to enhance the manufacturing process. He/She will also be responsible for programming and maintaining equipment and addressing non-conforming products that do not meet the required quality standards.

**Responsibilities**:

- Excel in advanced measurement technique and able to program, calibrate and operate CMM, VMM, Optical Comparator and other precision quality measuring instruments or equipment.
- Perform the minimum maintenance on instruments or equipment as necessary.
- Should be able to read and understood blueprints and interpret GD&T (geometric dimensioning and tolerancing) symbols, QC plan, Manufacturing process and technique. Work assignments must be carried out to the highest quality level.
- The QC should have ample knowledge of measuring techniques and instruments, SPC charts, Quality tools, NDT technique, welding and galvanizing process and various quality checks required. Perform Dimensional and visual inspections across all stages of manufacturing process (Incoming materials

- finished goods-Shipping) in conjunction with controlled drawings and applicable specifications/standards.
- Evaluate data and draft reports, noting any relevant deviations from existing standards and disposition of the non-confirmed products.
- Supervise the manufacturing processes, recommend improvements, and deploy controls, Lean methodology and quality awareness throughout the facility. In close cooperation with colleagues and supervisors to conduct an efficient quality assurance in accordance with quality levels set as clients standards (Raw materials

- Must be display proactively in the assurance of quality, result oriented and self-motivating, strong personality who can interact with colleagues.
- Defines and monitors inspection and testing activities to assure that these follow the quality standards established for the overall project. Assures sufficient acceptable documentation is being recorded, maintained, distributed, and retained.

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma in mechanical engineering or equivalent. ASNT/NDT level 1 or 2, AWS/CSWIP-3.1 Welding Inspector
- ** Minimum 5 years experience in QC Inspector role within a similar manufacturing / automotive /industrial sector**.
- CMM, VMM, OC programmer cum inspector/operator.
- Coordinates the preparation and compliance of Integrated management system standards.
- Thorough knowledge of basic and advanced statistical quality tool, including, Pareto, histogram, process mapping, process capability and SPC.
- Must have the knowledge of Tier 1 automotive quality methods, standards and /or systems preferred.
- Excellent analytical, and communication skills are essential.
- Must have sound knowledge on Microsoft products such as Excel, Win Word, PowerPoint, etc.
- Experience in working with multicultural environments is desired. Good math and technical skill.
