In order to reinforce the Quality team in Dubai we are currently recruiting for a

**Quality Assurance Assistant**

As Assistant in the Quality Assurance department you will support the Quality Engineer and the Quality Director in administrative tasks within the Jet Aviation Dubai quality assurance system.

Description/Tasks:

- Accountability / responsibilities / key activities / main tasks:_
- Manage authorizations for certifying staff
- Organize all administrative matters of Jet Aviation Dubai (JDXB) in regard to the certification of the Aircraft Maintenance Organization (AMO), liaises with the National Aviation Authorities (NAA), and
- Edit and administer the quality assurance documentation, mainly the manuals (such as the Maintenance Organization Exposition - MOE)
- Maintain the library of legal texts (CAR 145.45)
- Supervise due dates and deadlines, run the agenda of the Director Quality Assurance (DQA) and his department
- Assure the supply with office material of the quality assurance offices
- Report Safety hazards, incidents and injuries. Be familiar with emergency instructions
- Participate to the Safety Management System implementation, review and continuous improvement
- Participate in SAG meetings

The Quality Assurance Assistant supports the Director Quality Assurance (DQA) in the following matters:

- preparation of a yearly schedule for internal audits
- follow up the corrective actions from any department manager or staff thereof, in case of discrepancies related to quality
- assist external auditors during audits, inspections and investigations
- follow-up of occurrence reporting, maintain the reporting data base
- follow up the evaluation and approval of all suppliers and subcontractors on a regular basis, maintain the subcontractor list
- Manage the work away from home base and one-off authorization process
- Assist to develop, with Training Coordinator, coaching material to build quality / safety / human factor awareness
- Carrying out internal audits/supplier audits in accordance with the quality audit program

Qualification/Experience:
**_Work Ex_**_perience/_**_Qualifications_**
- Prior experience in an aircraft maintenance environment or quality assurance environment would be an advantage.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Aviation Regulations would be an advantage

**_Educational Requirements_**
- Diploma/Bachelor in Aircraft Maintenance preferred

**_Personal and Professional Skills_**
- Communication - written, verbal, presentation
- Computer skills - MS Office
- Effective report writing and procedure / process writing skills
- Knowledge of Auditing techniques would be an advantage
- Excellent analytical abilities to grasp the key points from complicated details
- Self-starter and has the ability to use his own initiative
- Project Management / Willingness to take on a wide range of tasks
