Position: Chief Accountant - Agricultural Industry with Consolidation Experience

We are seeking a skilled Chief Accountant with a robust agricultural background and demonstrated expertise in consolidation processes. As a pivotal member of our finance team, you'll be responsible for overseeing and optimizing our accounting activities within the agricultural sector while ensuring accurate and timely financial consolidation across multiple entities.

**Responsibilities**:
Financial Consolidation: Execute and manage the consolidation process for multiple agricultural entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.

Accounting Oversight: Supervise day-to-day accounting operations, including AP/AR, GL, and reconciliations for agricultural operations.

Reporting: Prepare financial statements, analysis reports, and management dashboards for senior leadership, highlighting key performance indicators.

Compliance & Regulatory Adherence: Ensure adherence to financial regulations, standards, and company policies within the agricultural sector.

Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate on budget creation, forecasts, and financial planning aligned with agricultural business goals.

Process Improvement: Identify and implement efficiency enhancements in accounting processes and systems, aiming for operational excellence.

Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop accounting teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or relevant certification preferred.
- Proven experience 10+ years in accounting within the agricultural industry, showcasing comprehensive understanding and challenges unique to the sector.
- Expertise in financial consolidation across multiple entities or subsidiaries, demonstrating sound knowledge of consolidation software/systems.
- Proficiency in financial reporting standards (GAAP/IFRS) and familiarity with agricultural regulations and compliance.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building abilities.
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
