As a Structural Steel Fabricator, you will be responsible for the fabrication and assembly of structural steel components according to blueprints and specifications. Your role will involve using various tools and equipment to ensure that all fabricated steel meets industry standards and project requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the appropriate materials and methods.
- Fabricate and assemble structural steel components including beams, columns, and trusses.
- Operate and maintain welding, cutting, and other fabrication equipment.
- Measure, cut, and shape steel using saws, shears, and grinders.
- Ensure all fabricated components are in compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Inspect and test finished products to verify adherence to specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to all safety protocols.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship in metal fabrication is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Structural Steel Fabricator or similar role.
- Proficiency in welding techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick) and the use of fabrication tools.
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in steel fabrication.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy materials and equipment.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Certification in welding or metal fabrication.
- Experience with CNC machinery and automated fabrication processes.
- Familiarity with industry standards and codes.
