**Job Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Test Execution & Analysis**: Execute and analyze regression, functional, integration, and performance tests. Identify, log, and track defects meticulously and work closely with developers to resolve issues.
- **Collaboration**: Collaborate with QA, development, and product teams to understand requirements, ensure comprehensive test coverage, and participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- **Framework Enhancement**: Continuously enhance and optimize automation frameworks for scalability, reusability, and efficiency.
- **CI/CD Integration**: Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to enable shift-left testing and continuous quality assessment.
- **Reporting**: Generate and share detailed test reports and metrics with stakeholders to provide transparency on quality.
- **Best Practices**: Ensure adherence to quality standards and champion best practices in testing across the development lifecycle.

**Qualifications & Skills**

**Must-Have**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) as an Automation Tester.
- Strong programming skills in **C#** and hands-on experience with the **.NET** and **.NET Core** frameworks.
- In-depth experience with unit testing frameworks such as **NUnit, xUnit, or MSTest**.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Hands-on experience with automation tools/frameworks such as **Selenium**, **Appium**, **Cucumber**, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of **API testing** tools (e.g., **Postman**, RestAssured).
- Familiarity with **CI/CD pipelines** (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
- Understanding of **databases** and SQL (MSSQL, MySQL).
- Solid experience in writing test cases, test plans, and bug reports.
- Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

**Nice-to-Have**:

- Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., k6, JMeter).
- Knowledge of other programming/scripting languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with tools like **Cypress** or **Playwright**.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably **Microsoft Azure**.
