We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Surveyor to join our team of maritime experts. In this role, you’ll provide technical support for marine operations of all types and sizes across the globe. Be part of a team that tackles complex challenges and ensures maritime safety worldwide.

**What you will be doing.**

As a** Surveyor, **you will perform Marine Operational duties including but not limited to loadouts, transportation and towage approvals, document reviews, general rig move consultancy, Jack-up marine warranty, condition and suitability surveys. Additionally, your responsibilities will include:

  • Perform detailed analysis of marine and offshore projects to ensure compliance with regulatory and client standards.
  • Participate in risk assessment and feasibility evaluations for complex marine operations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
  • Support business development efforts by contributing to tenders and proposals for offshore Marine Warranty Survey (MWS) projects.
  • Attend and oversee critical marine operations, including rig moves and surveys, to ensure smooth execution and compliance.
  • Lead project teams in delivering high-quality solutions that meet client expectations, timelines, and cost requirements.
  • Ensure seamless communication with clients to maintain transparency and achieve project milestones.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to junior staff through training, mentoring, and professional development initiatives.

Ability to remotely as required. Flexibility and willingness to travel and work within a variety of time zones -Onsite (offshore) attendance

  • Offshore travel is a requirement of the job.

**What we are looking for.**

  • Hold a Chief Mate (STCW II/2) qualification or equivalent, with extensive offshore experience and comprehensive industry training.
  • Possess over 5 years of relevant professional experience in the maritime and offshore sectors.
  • Exhibit strong technical and analytical skills, enabling sound decision-making and operational focus.
  • Consistently produce accurate reports and high-quality deliverables within tight deadlines.
  • Display excellent leadership and communication skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Maintain a proactive, assertive approach, with high ethical standards and a forward-thinking mindset.
  • Operate as a well-organized, self-directed individual with strong commercial acumen and business insight.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment while demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and pragmatic leadership.

**Desired Skills**

  • Extensive Marine Warranty and rig move experience, with strong knowledge of marine and engineering consultancy for offshore oil and gas markets.
  • Master Mariner (STCW II/2) or equivalent with significant offshore experience and training.
  • Experience in vessel and asset inspections, audits, damage surveys, and project management.
  • Previous shore-based experience in a similar consultancy role.
