**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Financial Reporting**:

- Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of financial reports to management and regulatory bodies.
- **Account Management**:

- Oversee and manage the day-to-day accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Reconcile bank statements, maintain accurate records, and ensure the integrity of financial data.
- **Budgeting and Forecasting**:

- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations to support financial planning.
- Monitor and analyze budgetary performance, identifying variances and suggesting corrective actions.
- **Compliance and Internal Controls**:

- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, laws, and standards.
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of financial records.
- **Tax and Audit**:

- Prepare and submit tax returns, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations and requirements.
- Coordinate and support internal and external audits, addressing any audit findings and implementing recommended improvements.
- **Financial Analysis**:

- Conduct detailed financial analysis to support decision-making, including profitability analysis, cost management, and financial performance evaluation.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on financial data and trends.
- **Team Leadership and Development**:

- Mentor and train junior accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Oversee the performance of the accounting team, ensuring professional development and effective teamwork.

**Qualifications**:

- **Chartered Accountant (CA) certification** or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
- **Bachelor’s degree** in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree or additional certifications are a plus).
- **5+ years** of experience in accounting or finance, with a strong background in financial reporting and compliance.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (SAP, QuickBooks).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong understanding of IFRS and local accounting regulations.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
