**Location**: Various Sites

**Job Summary**

The Carpenter Foreman is responsible for overseeing the carpentry team and ensuring that all carpentry work is completed accurately, on time, and in compliance with project specifications. The Carpenter Foreman leads a team of carpenters and apprentices, manages daily tasks, ensures safety, and maintains quality standards on-site.

**Key Responsibilities1. Supervision and Leadership**
- Lead and manage a team of carpenters, ensuring efficient performance and quality of work.
- Assign tasks to team members based on skills, experience, and project requirements.
- Provide training, guidance, and support to junior carpenters and apprentices.
- Ensure all carpenters follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

**2. Project Management and Coordination**
- Coordinate with the project manager or site supervisor to discuss project timelines, materials, and requirements.
- Oversee the daily operations of carpentry work on-site and ensure tasks are completed on schedule.
- Inspect work to ensure compliance with architectural plans and local building codes.
- Monitor the progress of carpentry work and report any delays or issues to the site supervisor.

**3. Material Management**
- Ensure that all carpentry materials are available on-site and in the right quantities.
- Inspect materials for defects before use and ensure proper handling and storage.
- Work with the storekeeper to requisition supplies and ensure mínimal wastage of materials.

**4. Quality Control and Safety**
- Monitor the quality of carpentry work to ensure it meets industry standards and project specifications.
- Enforce strict adherence to safety guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
- Perform regular safety checks and identify potential hazards on-site.
- Ensure all carpentry tools and equipment are well-maintained and properly stored.

**5. Reporting and Communication**
- Keep detailed records of work completed, including any issues encountered or changes made.
- Communicate regularly with the project manager and site supervisor to provide updates on the status of work.
- Ensure any deviations from plans are documented and communicated with relevant stakeholders.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**
- Proven experience as a carpenter, with a minimum of [X] years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical plans.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
