**How you can make your mark**:
Make your mark as a Logistic Assistant** **at Horizon Geosciences The Logistic Assistant** **is responsible for undertaking logístical and administrative support. This is achieved by coordinating the logístical support and purchasing for the Operations Department and ensuring that equipment transport for the projects is executed in a timely manner confirming to all required policies and standards.

**Your responsibilities as a Logistic Assistant**
- Assist the Logistics Manager in ordering and purchasing in-charge for preparing and issuing PO’s
- Handle department’s PO filing system and maintain records, adhering to the company’s document lifecycle procedures, including but not limited to photocopying, scanning, retrieval of documents, updating PO status in the relevant tracking system.
- Handle all agents and supplier invoices for verification process and management approval prior to transmitting to accounts.
- Print prepares and dispatch Engineering Reports in each period and monitor receipt from the Client.
- Update the Project Manager on PO value per project recorded to date.
- Ensure the department’s stationary requirements are provided when requested.
- Handle mail duties including courier service requested within the department.

- High school (or equivalent) education.
- Computer literate with a good knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, Power Point & Outlook
- Adequate knowledge of FREE zone customs procedures.
- Fluent in written and spoken English (as per the Horizon Communication Policy).
- Conversant with equipment and software used within the Company.
