**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Procurement Strategy**: Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies to support the company’s objectives and project requirements. Ensure alignment with industry standards and best practices.
- **Supplier Management**: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers and subcontractors. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers. Negotiate contracts and terms to achieve favorable conditions for the company.
- **Material Sourcing**: Manage the sourcing and procurement of building materials, equipment, and services required for construction projects. Ensure quality and compliance with specifications.
- **Cost Control**: Monitor and manage procurement budgets. Implement cost-saving initiatives and strategies to optimize procurement processes and reduce expenses.
- **Contract Management**: Draft, review, and manage procurement contracts and agreements. Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions. Address and resolve any contract-related issues.
- **Market Research**: Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, market trends, and pricing information. Stay updated on industry developments and emerging products.
- **Inventory Management**: Oversee inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment. Coordinate with project teams to forecast needs and manage stock levels.
- **Quality Assurance**: Ensure that procured materials and services meet the company’s quality standards and project specifications. Implement quality control processes and conduct supplier audits as needed.
- **Team Leadership**: Lead and mentor the procurement team. Provide guidance and support to ensure effective procurement operations and professional development.
- **Compliance**: Ensure compliance with UAE regulations and company policies related to procurement and contracting. Address and resolve any compliance issues promptly.

**Qualifications**:

- **Experience**: Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement within the building and contracting industry in the UAE. Proven experience in managing procurement processes, supplier relationships, and contract negotiations.
- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CIPS) are a plus.
- **Skills**: Strong negotiation and communication skills. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- **Market Knowledge**: In-depth understanding of the UAE construction market, including suppliers, materials, and regulatory requirements.
- **Analytical Abilities**: Ability to analyze procurement data, market trends, and supplier performance to make informed decisions and drive improvements.
