**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a qualified and proactive **HSE Officer** to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across our construction and contracting sites. The HSE Officer will play a key role in monitoring site activities, implementing safety procedures, conducting inspections, and fostering a strong safety culture among workers, subcontractors, and site management.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Enforce company HSE policies and ensure compliance with local and international safety standards
- Conduct daily site inspections to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare and maintain risk assessments, method statements, and safety plans (HSE Plans)
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and ongoing training for site personnel and subcontractors.
- Monitor usage and proper implementation of PPE on site.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and submit detailed reports with root cause analysis.
- Maintain site-specific HSE documentation and logs, including inspection checklists, permits, and training records.
- Ensure that site work is carried out in accordance with environmental management standards.
- Assist in emergency response planning and participate in drills and mock evacuations.
- Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure HSE requirements are met.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum **2 to 4 years of HSE experience in a contracting/construction environment**.
- Strong communication and training skills to interact with multicultural workforces.
- Proficient in report writing and MS Office tools.
