**Overview of the role**

Additionally, responsible for the design and maintenance of the target business architecture of the corporate solutions (e.g. Finance and HR)

**What you will do**

Application Integration:

- Deliver the Enterprise Integration Architecture in Cloud and on-premises, identifying the platform landscape, Dev/Ops CICD & monitoring processes and the Integration Technology/tools Portfolio
- Provide expert advice to project teams on use of integration technology, as well as system architecture, including integration best practices
- Promote service re-utilization aiming to reduce the TCO of the integration solutions
- Provide assurance that the integration solutions are adequately documented
- Mentor the integration platform and development teams on the management and design of the Integration solutions

Enterprise Architecture:

- Work with project teams in definition of requirements for integration strategies of their projects into the Enterprise Architecture
- Maintain the Integration Service Catalog
- Deliver integration designs for projects
- Participate as a permanent member of the Solution Design Approval Forum to review & approve project design
- Define and maintain Integration Patterns standards, best practices and guidelines
- Contribute to the development of _Architecture Principles_.
- Contribute to the design and development of _Enterprise Target Architecture_ (ETA) in the context of Business & IT strategy.
- Create Business Architecture / Capability Models, perform maturity assessment and create roadmaps for capability increments.
- Define the data shared across the enterprise and the relationships between those data.
- Impact Analysis of Demands and define the solution approach.
- As part of RFIs (Request for Information) or RFPs (Request for Proposal) identify, assess, and recommend selection of new product and technology in line with the _Architecture Principles_ and Business Requirements.
- Assess Application Portfolio and recommend Applications for consolidation, retirement and timely upgrade leading to a cost optimal IT landscape.
- Define Application & Technology Standards. Prepare roadmaps for technology and products supporting the strategic implementation plan.
- Perform research on emerging technologies and recommend usage of the same to address existing business capability gaps.
- Undertake new technology/solutions introduction and related Proof of Concepts (POCs) / Proof of Technology (POT).
- Lead scoping, integration designs and workshops with the Business/IT stakeholders to support business strategies.
- Carry out Architecture assessments and provide recommendations / options (point-of-view).
- Participate / Coordinate in Enterprise Architecture governance activities.
- Maintain the Enterprise Architecture Repository.

**Required skills to be successful**
- Must be an expert in Enterprise Integration Architecture, Business Capability Modelling, Application Portfolio Rationalization
- Advanced skills in Solution Architecture, Software Development, Business Process Design and Risk Management
- Must be proficient in IT Security Management, Infrastructure and Technology, IT Project Management, Sourcing and Procurement, IT Quality Assurance and IT Vendor Management

The role will report to the Chief Enterprise Architect and will be based in Dubai Festival City.

- Minimum Experience and Knowledge: 10 years Enterprise Architecture experience; 6+ years of experience in designing integration solutions
- Expert knowledge of API Gateways, Enterprise Service Busses, Messaging Queues, Managed FTP solutions
- Expert knowledge of common system integration methods and technologies including Web services, SOAP, JSON, XML Schema Definition (XSD), Extensible Markup Language (XML), Business process automation and orchestration tools and software
- Excellent understanding across architecture domains - Business, Data, Application and Technology Architecture
- Enterprise Architecture accreditation e.g. TOGAF
