General Foreman

**Job Title**: Foreman - Building Maintenance Works

**Job Summary**:
The Building Maintenance Foreman is responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and executing maintenance and repair activities on building structures, ensuring all work complies with safety standards and is completed efficiently and on schedule. The Foreman will supervise a team of skilled tradespeople, communicate project details, and ensure the quality and timeliness of all maintenance work.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Project Planning & Execution**:

- Plan, schedule, and oversee maintenance and repair activities for building structures, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs.
- Allocate resources effectively, ensuring the availability of materials, tools, and equipment.
- **Team Supervision & Management**:

- Lead and supervise a team of skilled tradespeople (e.g., plumbers, electricians, carpenters) and assign specific tasks.
- Provide on-site training, guidance, and support to ensure all team members follow safety protocols and quality standards.
- **Quality Assurance**:

- Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and specifications.
- Identify any issues or deficiencies in work completed and arrange for prompt correction.
- **Safety Compliance**:

- Ensure all team members adhere to workplace safety standards and regulations.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, conducting regular safety checks on equipment and materials.
- **Documentation & Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and project costs.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on maintenance activities, progress, and any issues encountered.
- **Client Interaction**:

- Communicate with clients or building managers to assess their needs, provide updates, and ensure their satisfaction with completed work.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in a relevant trade is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in building maintenance or a related field, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Proficient knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and building systems.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards.

**Work Environment**:
This role may require lifting, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions. The Foreman should be prepared for a hands-on role and will often be on-site to supervise and assist in maintenance activities

Pay: AED1,999.00 - AED2,000.00 per month
