Position: BIM Modeller - Electrical

**Responsibilities**:

- Create accurate 3D electrical models using BIM software (e.g., Revit) based on project requirements and specifications.
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure electrical systems are integrated seamlessly into building models.
- Develop detailed electrical plans, schematics, and drawings according to industry standards and project guidelines.
- Coordinate with other disciplines (such as architects, structural engineers, and MEP consultants) to resolve clashes and conflicts in the model.
- Perform clash detection analysis using Navisworks or similar software to identify and resolve coordination issues.
- Generate quantity take-offs and assist in preparing project estimates and schedules.
- Stay updated with the latest BIM technologies and tools, and implement best practices for efficient modeling workflows.
- Ensure compliance with project requirements, building codes, and regulations related to electrical systems.
- Support the project team by providing technical assistance and participating in project meetings as required.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing BIM processes and workflows within the organization.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in BIM modeling, with a focus on electrical systems.
- Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD MEP, and Navisworks.
- Strong understanding of electrical design principles, codes, and standards.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy and quality in modeling work.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload efficiently to meet project deadlines.
- Familiarity with BIM 360 platform and cloud-based collaboration tools is a plus.
- Knowledge of MEP systems and interdisciplinary coordination processes.
- Experience working on construction projects in the Middle East region is advantageous.
