We are looking for a talented and dynamic Financial Analyst to join our Finance team here in Dubai. The position requires a highly motivated, detail-oriented and ambitious individual to partner with business leaders and support financial planning, forecasting, and analysis activities across the organization.
As a Finance Analyst, you will be supporting the strategic priorities of the organization through financial planning, forecasting, monthly financial reporting, and analysis, providing ad-hoc analysis and decision support using reporting and data analytics tools.
**Who You Are**
You are a creative problem solver that is highly motivated, inquiring, and technically proficient with a strong sense of ownership and integrity to deliver quality work and consistent results. You have a strong analytical background, always proactive, with a process improvement mindset and meticulous attention to detail, as well as a proven ability to build relationships with both finance and accounting colleagues and with business partners.
**Responsibilities**
Key deliverables include providing accurate and timely monthly financial reporting, supporting the annual budgeting cycle, short, mid and long-range financial and strategic planning, contingency planning, and the development and prioritization of strategic initiatives.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, compiling inputs from key business and finance/Accounting stakeholders, and managing deliverables to successfully complete planning cycles on tight deadlines.
- Support the finance team on month end closure and generation of the financial statements, including variance analysis, and management discussion and analysis commentary to effectively communicate business trends, risks, and opportunities
- Develop reporting packages and presentations to key personnel.
- Ensure high quality deliverables by thoroughly validating work product and independently problem-solving root cause issues.
- Develop reporting capabilities to improve efficiency across the Finance and Accounting function, and across the broader business.
- Partner with the Enabling Team Leaders and provide pertinent data to establish Operational and Financial goal alignment and drive toward results
- Responsible for developing models for forecasting, budgeting and any kind of forward-looking analysis
**Required Skills**:
- Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, accounting, or related field
- Experience with developing forecasts, tracking actuals and variance, and creating easy to understand narratives around financial data
- Experience with synthesizing strategic business insights, problem solving, and determining root cause
- Adept at building relationships with people across all levels and many functions
- Communication skills and demonstrated attention to detail
- Experience to quickly adapt, learn new skill sets, and experience creating a solid understanding of operational challenges
- Experience dealing with high levels of ambiguity in performing roles and delivering results
