**Position Overview**

As Team leader of our workshop team, you will be responsible for overseeing container fabrication, modification, and outfitting, as well as site projects. Your responsibilities will include:
**Team Leadership**:

- Lead and oversee workshop personnel, providing guidance, leadership, and support to ensure all tasks are carried out safely and meet quality and technical standards.
- Conduct daily morning meetings to assign tasks, check attendance, and report to the Workshop Supervisor.
- Monitor and optimize team productivity while ensuring adherence to project schedules

**Fabrication & Installation**:

- Supervise the installation of container components according to engineering drawings, including doors, windows, showers, toilets, and outfittings.
- Oversee the installation of wall, floor, and ceiling panels, as well as insulation.
- Ensure high-quality fit-up for all fabrication work, maintaining required tolerances for the welding process.
- Implement control measures to prevent bending, deflection, or misalignment of container panels, doors, and other components.
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, maintaining a safe and organized work environment in the workshop and yard.
- Promote a strong safety culture and enforce good housekeeping practices.
- Collaborate with the Project Engineer/Manager to review past projects and implement improvements

**Quality Control & Supervision**:

- Inspect incoming materials in coordination with the quality team, ensuring correct specifications and proper storage.
- Manage stock levels, including project materials, general workshop tools, and equipment, reporting any shortages to the Workshop Manager.
- Review workshop equipment and identify opportunities for improvement to enhance productivity and output.

**Profile**:

- **Industry knowledge**: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the field.
- ** Essential technical skills**:

- Trade Qualified Welder/Fitter preferred, Piping/Structure/Mechanical background or similar.
- Knowledge of steel fabrication (piping and structural).
- Technical knowledge of welding processes (GTAW, SMAW, FCAW).
- Understanding of welding procedure specification is beneficial.
