**Position**:Warehouse helper/ checker, Dispatch worker

**Location**:Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Crane Operation**: Operate **gantry cranes** safely and efficiently as required for material handling and loading activities.

**Truck Loading**: Supervise and assist in loading trucks according to bundle packing specifications, ensuring that materials are loaded correctly.

**Material Specifications**: Ensure a thorough understanding of material specifications and verify materials are handled accordingly during dispatch.

**Organization**: Assist in organizing and maintaining inventory to ensure smooth operations and timely dispatch.

**Measuring Tools**: Utilize basic tools like micrometres and vernier calipers for material inspections and measurements during dispatch.

**Supervision and Dispatch**: Supervise the dispatch process in line with the plan provided by the Logistics Coordinator, ensuring deadlines are met and resources are allocated efficiently.

**Material Inspection**: Perform basic inspections of materials during truck loading to ensure quality standards and correct specifications are met.

**Physical Fitness**: Maintain physical fitness to perform tasks around the factory floor, including moving materials and assisting with loading/unloading as necessary.

**Reporting**: Report any issues or discrepancies related to logistics, inventory, or material quantities to the Logistics and Inventory departments promptly.

**Basic Tech Skills**: Demonstrate basic proficiency with smartphones, including apps like WhatsApp, for communication and coordination.

**Coordination with Stakeholders**:Coordinate with production, quality assurance, and logistics teams to ensure smooth and efficient dispatch operations.

**Documentation and Record-Keeping**:Maintain accurate documentation of dispatch activities, inventory movement, and quality inspections for internal records and reporting.

**Problem-Solving**:Proactively resolve any issues or challenges in the dispatch process, ensuring mínimal disruption to operations.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in a similar steel industries' dispatch or supervisory role.
- Ability to operate cranes and basic knowledge of material handling equipment.
- Familiarity with material specifications and truck loading procedures.
- Basic understanding of micrometers, vernier calipers, and other measuring tools.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage inventory and oversee dispatch activities.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with teams and departments.
- Physically fit to perform on-site work within the factory and dispatch areas.
