**CASHIERS**

We are currently looking for **Cashiers **to be assigned to a high-end supermarket in **Dubai Mall**

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree holder in Accounting, Business Administration, or relevant field. (preferred)
- Must be fluent in English (verbal and written). Knowledge in speaking Mandarin and Arabic is an advantage.
- Must have 4 years of working and professional experience as cashier in luxury brands.
- Must be sensible, presentable and with pleasing personality.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- **Cash Handling - **Accurately processing customer purchases. Involves scanning items, totalling the purchase amounts, and accepting various forms of payment such as cash, credit cards and mobile payments. Ensure that all transactions are processed correctly and must balance the cash drawer at the beginning and end of shift.
- **Customer Service - **As the primary point of contact for customers during check out process, cashier must greet the customers, answer their questions, and provide assistance as needed. Should strive to provide friendly and efficient customer service, addressing any concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
- **Product Knowledge - **Must have a general understanding of the supermarket’s products, including basic information about different product categories and their locations within the store.
- **Price Verification - **Ensure the accuracy of prices and promotions. Must be familiar with the store’s pricing policies and be able to identify any discrepancies between the scanned prices and the listed prices. For any price discrepancy, cashier should be able to effectively communicate the issue to the customer, and if necessary, involve a supervisor/manager for resolution.
- **Cash Register Management - **Responsible for operating and maintaining the cash register point-of-sale (POS) system. Familiarity with its functionalities, such as processing returns or voiding transactions when necessary. Must follow proper security procedures to safeguard cash and minimize the risk of theft and/or fraudulent transactions.
- **Cleanliness and Organization - **Maintain a clean and organized checkout area. Regularly clean the cash register, bagging area, and surrounding workspace. Must also ensure that checkout lanes are well-stocked with necessary supplies such as bags, receipt paper, and promotional materials.
- **Adherence to Policies and Procedures - **Must adhere to the supermarket policies and procedures, including those related to cash handling, customer service, and safety. This includes following protocols for checking identification during age-restricted sales, handling returns or exchanges, and reporting any suspicious activities or incidents to the appropriate personnel.
