Hse Inspector

**Job description**:

- Conduct regular inspections of sites and facilities for HSE hazards.
- Inspect equipment, machinery, work areas, and procedures for compliance.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with HSE regulations.
- Review project plans and documentation for HSE compliance.
- Report non-compliance issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Perform risk assessments and evaluate associated risks.
- Develop and implement control measures and mitigation strategies.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses; prepare reports.
- Review and assess emergency response plans and procedures.
- Conduct drills and exercises for emergency preparedness.
- Provide guidance during emergency situations.
- Maintain accurate records of HSE activities.
- Prepare regular reports on HSE performance and trends.
- Update project management on HSE issues and recommend improvements.
- Be aware of and obey the company’s QHSE policy and rules.

Competency Requirements:

- Thorough knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices.
- Familiarity with local, national, and international HSE standards.
- Strong understanding of risk assessment and incident investigation.
- Ability to provide practical recommendations for risk mitigation.
- Strong attention to detail and data analysis skills.

**Qualification**:

- Proven experience as an HSE Inspector in PMC or construction projects.
- Proficient in conducting inspections and audits.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years as an Inspector in UAE, with supervision of sewerage networks and network rehabilitation projects. Consultancy experience is favorable.
- Education: Graduation/Diploma in a relevant discipline.
- Language: English proficiency is mandatory.
