**We are currently seeking JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT who has extensive experience in accounting to join our team in Umm Al Quwain, UAE.**

**Position: JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT**

As a Junior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with month-end close processes, and supporting our financial reporting efforts. This position is ideal for individuals with 3-5 years of relevant experience who are looking to advance their career in accounting.

**Please note that the role is based in our office headquarters at Umm Al Quwain.**Previous experience in the construction industry will be an advantage to you.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Payment preparation (cheques, bank transfers, and so on).
- Assist in managing the invoicing process, including the creation, distribution, and tracking of invoices.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Carry out bank reconciliations, related transactions, and report Cash balances on a daily basis.
- Petty cash reimbursement and storing confirmations from receivers.
- Intercompany transactions are recorded and reconciled.
- Manage the AP/Payroll processes throughout the organization
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and financial audits.
- Assist with the record retention procedure, which involves certain accounting reports and data.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance within the contracting, transport and logistics industries.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, with specific knowledge on general contracting, transport and logistics industry.
- Knowledge of Tally preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
