**About the Role**:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced **Head of Data Analytics** to lead our data analytics function. Reporting to the COO, you will define and execute the company’s data strategy, enabling operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and actionable business insights across Health, Life, Marine, Aviation, and General Insurance.

This is a strategic leadership role, responsible for building a high-performing data analytics team, implementing robust analytics infrastructure, and driving data-driven decision-making across the organization.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Data Analytics Strategy & Operations**:

- Develop and execute the company’s data strategy and analytics roadmap.
- Foster a data-centric culture, turning raw data into actionable insights for strategic and operational decisions.

**Data Engineering & Infrastructure**:

- Oversee the architecture of enterprise data warehouses, data lakes, and real-time pipelines.
- Implement cloud-based platforms and scalable data integration solutions.
- Ensure high-quality, structured, and accessible data for analytics and reporting purposes.

**Business Analytics & Reporting**:

- Lead the creation of dashboards, KPIs, and reports for executive, operational, and underwriting needs.
- Support ad-hoc data requests and develop self-service solutions for stakeholders.
- Ensure timely and accurate regulatory reporting (DHA, DOH, CBUAE, etc.).

**Data Governance & Compliance**:

- Define data governance policies, quality standards, and metadata management.
- Ensure compliance with UAE data laws, GDPR where applicable, and internal policies.
- Manage secure access controls and data risk mitigation strategies.

**Data Science & Advanced Analytics**:

- Implement predictive analytics, customer segmentation, and fraud detection models.
- Collaborate with business units to embed analytics into decision-making.
- Evaluate external datasets to enrich internal data assets.

**Operational Readiness & Team Leadership**:

- Recruit, train, and mentor the data analytics team.
- Develop standard operating procedures, quality assurance, and training programs.
- Promote a culture of innovation, accountability, and data-driven thinking.

**Management Accountabilities**:

- Manage departmental budgets and resources efficiently.
- Support Product and Sales teams with data insights.
- Deputize the COO when needed and uphold company values.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5-7+ years leading data analytics functions in the UAE insurance industry or regulated financial services.
- Strong knowledge of insurance data models and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Power BI/Tableau, and ETL processes.
- Experience with AI/ML solutions is an advantage.

**Skills & Competencies**:
