**Our School**

The school which opened in September 2015, has already established a reputation for excellence in learning, teaching and leadership in the region. **The Post**

The Geography department is well resourced and consists of 3 teachers who teach the English National Curriculum at KS3, Pearson Edexcel IGCSE Geography and Pearson A-Level Geography. Results in summer 2022 saw students achieve 100% grade 9-6 (Geography), with 83% at 9-8. We run a variety of KS3 day trips, and at GCSE/A-Level residential trips within the UAE, to do both physical and human fieldwork.
- Hold a relevant degree and teaching qualification
- Have experience of teaching Geography whether that be in the UK or in an international setting
- Must be able to teach to GCSE level and A Level
- Have a minimum two years teaching experience
- Have exceptional communication skills

Hartland International School is in its seventh year of operation and is already an established name on the educational landscape of Dubai.

We offer the Early Years Foundation Stage programme, followed by the National Curriculum for England across primary and Key Stage 3, with a full and wide range of GCSEs and A Levels in the upper secondary. The school is an accredited COBIS member, has received The Challenge Award from NACE and is a member of BSME.

**Unique language immersion programme**
