**Our School**

The school which opened in September 2015, has already established a reputation for excellence in learning, teaching and leadership in the region. Our student body consists of just over 1600 students from nearly 105 nationalities, making Hartland a truly international community where a strong blend of academic challenge, enrichment opportunities and pastoral support for all, targets and inspires excellence. **The Post**

The Geography department is well resourced and consists of 3 teachers who teach the English National Curriculum at KS3, Pearson Edexcel IGCSE Geography and Pearson A-Level Geography. Results in summer 2022 saw students achieve 100% grade 9-6 (Geography), with 83% at 9-8. We run a variety of KS3 day trips, and at GCSE/A-Level residential trips within the UAE, to do both physical and human fieldwork.
- Hold a relevant degree and teaching qualification
- Have experience of teaching Geography whether that be in the UK or in an international setting
- Must be able to teach to GCSE level and A Level
- Have a minimum two years teaching experience
- Have exceptional communication skills
