**Job description**:
Charterhouse is working with one of the world’s leading commodity trading companies, who is looking to recruit a Senior Trader for their Dubai office. They have offices in over 40 countries across the globe and specialise in the mining, production and trading of physical commodities, mainly High-Grade Iron Ore Concentrate.

**About the role**
The Senior Trader will work as part of a team to track and provide analysis of the commercial risks and exposures inherent to commodity trading. This will include tracking the physical movements of the commodities and their associated documents, monitoring market exposures, drafting commercial contracts and a variety of other duties.

The Trader must be flexible and have the ability to work with the demanding nature of the role, as they will be required to communicate with offices in Europe, Asia and North America. The role will also require the tracking of derivative positions in a number of financial markets, including the London Metal Exchange, Chicago Mercantile Group and Shanghai Metals Exchange.

In order to make informed commercial decisions, the Trader should be immersed in the dynamic global trading process and collect daily market information, execute hedges of certain exposures and coordinate the details of each trade from inception to execution.
