E-City Supermarket is currently Shelf boy cum store keeper for the Supermarket Chain.

A shelf boy will manages all aspects of the supermarket department’s stock levels including taking inventory, replenishing products as needed, receiving incoming inventory and ensuring products are appropriately positioned. This job may also require some level of customer service.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet customers when entering or leaving establishment.
- Shelf boy will be responsible for maintaining clean and orderly spaces. They will be also responsible for doing mop, sweep floors, help with spills and ensure the store looks presentable for customers.
- Shelf boy must assist in the receiving of product, as well as loading and unloading it in the back room. From there, they bring product out onto the floor in order to adequately stock the grocery shelves. They must refill displays and maintain inventory levels, checking products as they go for quality, freshness, damage, and price accuracy and resolving any product issues.
- Shelf boy will also assist purchase manager in ordering specific products based on the needs of the store.
- Shelf boy must display items according to manufacture guidelines. They must oversee proper product placement, rotation, positioning, storage, and handling.
- Ensure pricing is correct.
- Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information.
- Answer customers' questions and get a manager if answer doesn't solve the issue.
- Process returns and checks to see if items are damaged.
- Pleasantly deal with customers to ensure satisfaction.
- Responsible for ensuring prompt assistance to customers in store.
- Assisted in weekly sales promotion price changes.
- Demonstrating ability to complete heavy lifting tasks.
- Being able to work overnight, weekends, and holidays.
- Possessing effective communication skills.
- Knowing how to operate a pallet jack.
- Showing an ability to help customers.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED1,800.00 - AED2,000.00 per month
