**Responsibilities**
- Deliver against underwriting and financial measures.
- Underwrite risks and handle technical referrals.
- Responsible for underwriting both new business and renewals.
- Accurately select, assess and price risk in line with underwriting guidance.
- Ensure standards are met and the governance framework adhered to.
- Develop key internal stakeholder relationships.

**Skills Required**:

- Proficient Excel skills
- Analytical mind
- Result oriented
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Good Presentation Skills.

**Education, Experience and Formal/Professional Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Medical Underwriting.
- Reading through doctors’ reports.
- Previous insurance or TPA experience is a must.
- Coding knowledge is preferred.
- Knowledge of different network tariffs.
- Experience in dealing with insurers.
- The ability to manage clients, distribution teams, and insurers.
- Experience in handling claims.
