Medical Sales Representative

**About the job**

We are seeking an experienced Medical Sales Representative with at least 2 years of experience in the medical sales industry, specializing in Bariatric Surgery, Point of Care, Emergency Care, Pediatric Care.

**Job Description and Responsibilities**
- Promote SFMS products portfolio, demonstrate accurate, medical detailing to Bariatric Surgeons, Infection control, purchase managers and doctors.
- Achieve monthly, and annual sales targets and marketing objectives.
- Arrange an appointment with the hospital purchase manager, Surgeons, head infection control, doctors, and lab Directors to promote the assigned product portfolio.
- Identify and act on new opportunities which will drive business sales.
- Drive sales Growth by establishing positive and productive relationships with the surgeons, store managers, and another stockholder
- Monitor competition, conduct market intelligence, and report to the line manager.
- Maintain call records for doctors, pharmacists, pharmacies, hospitals, and clinics and submit reports accurately and on time.
- Motivate and manage the key retail accounts within their area for a specific product portfolio
- Achieve the sales targets and qualitative and quantitative objectives
- Monitor sales and identify and propose new business opportunities for the accounts
- Identify new business prospects and penetrate new pharmacies to increase the numerical distribution
- Propose new product listings, space increase, and promotions within accounts
- Monitor and report share of a shelf of the brands, assortments, positioning of the brand, ensure the implementation of the contract
- Monitor out of stock/ low stock and raise appropriate orders for the outlet
- Ensure timely collection of payment as per the credit terms
- Manage the returns and raise GRN
- Ensure full coverage of the market through regular visits as per the journey plan
- Liaise with all areas of the business to assure the highest level of customer service
- Attend sales meetings, conference calls, training sessions, and symposium circuits
- Work with the sales team to develop strategies and implement brand strategies to ensure a consistent marketing message
- Build positive trust relationships with medical representatives to influence the targeted group in the decision-making process
- Monitor and analyze data and market conditions to identify competitive advantage

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Nutrition, biomedical, Pharmacy or equivalent)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, self-motivated and results-driven with at least 2-4 years of experience.
- Strong understanding of the healthcare industry and regulatory environment in UAE, specifically in the Bariatric Surgery, Point of Care, infection control, Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
- Proven work experience in a sales-based role with experience in, and knowledge of, bariatric weight loss sales or pediatric ICU, or Point of care (IVD)
- Proven work experience in a sales-based role with experience with the Hospital Purchase managers.
- Proven work experience in a sales-based role with experience in infection control.

**Salary**: AED7,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
