Qhse Officer

**Roles & Responsibilities**

**Quality Management**
- Develop, implement, and maintain a **Quality Management System (QMS)** to ensure compliance with **UAE and RTA (Roads and Transport Authority)** standards.
- Conduct regular quality audits for driving instructors, vehicles, training materials, and facilities.
- Monitor and evaluate customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and ensure a high level of service delivery.
- Ensure all staff are adequately trained on quality control measures and customer service standards.

**Health and Safety**
- Establish and enforce health and safety protocols in compliance with **UAE labour laws** and industry standards.
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards in training vehicles, classrooms, and practical test areas.
- Coordinate and oversee emergency response training, including fire drills and first aid procedures.
- Investigate incidents or accidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

**Environmental Management**
- Promote and implement environmentally friendly practices, such as waste reduction and vehicle emissions control.
- Develop strategies to minimize the environmental impact of the driving school’s operations, including the use of fuel-efficient vehicles.
- Ensure compliance with **Dubai’s environmental regulations** and standards.

**Regulatory Compliance**
- Keep up to date with changes in **RTA** and other relevant authority regulations to ensure full compliance.
- Prepare and submit **timely RTA compliance reports** and other required documentation to governing bodies.
- Act as a liaison with regulatory agencies during inspections or audits.
- Ensure **RTA Compliance** in all operational and training activities.

**Training and Awareness**
- Conduct orientation and periodic training for staff on **QHSE policies and practices**.
- Create awareness programs for students regarding road safety and environmental sustainability.
- Ensure all instructors are trained in the latest safety procedures and defensive driving techniques.

**Continuous Improvement**
- Analyze **QHSE performance data** and develop action plans for improvement.
- Collaborate with management to set measurable **QHSE objectives** and track progress.
- Lead initiatives to improve operational efficiency while maintaining safety and quality standards.

**Documentation and Reporting**
- Maintain accurate records of all **QHSE activities, audits, and incidents**.
- Prepare periodic reports on **QHSE performance metrics** for senior management review.
- Ensure documentation is readily available during inspections or audits.

**Qualifications for the QHSE Officer Position**

**Educational Background**
- **Bachelor’s Degree** in a relevant field, such as:

- Environmental Science
- Health and Safety Management
- Quality Management
- Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or Industrial)

**Professional Certifications (Preferred or Required)**
- **ISO Certification Training**:

- Lead Auditor Certification for **ISO 9001** (Quality Management System)
- **ISO 45001** (Occupational Health & Safety Management)
- **ISO 14001** (Environmental Management System)
- **ISO 31001** (Risk Management)
- **ISO 50001** (Energy Management)
- **ISO 39001** (Road Traffic Safety Management)
- **NEBOSH Certification** (National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health)
- **IOSH Certification** (Institution of Occupational Safety and Health)
- Certification in **First Aid/CPR** or **Emergency Response Management**.

**Experience**
- Minimum **3-5 years** of relevant work experience in **QHSE roles**, preferably in: Driving schools, transportation or automotive sectors, educational institutions or training facilities, consultant or consultancy roles in QHSE.

- Proven track record of conducting audits, managing safety protocols, and ensuring compliance with **local UAE regulations**.

**Skills**
- Strong knowledge of **UAE labour laws, RTA regulations, and other relevant compliance standards**.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for training and liaising with staff, regulatory authorities, and customers.
- Proficiency in **QHSE software tools, report writing, and risk management techniques**.
- Fluency in **English and Hindi** (required).

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
