**Job duties and responsibilities**
- Capable of reading blueprints and drawings and taking measurements to plan the layout and procedures.
- Proficient in making plate or pipe welds of any size on all base material, all thickness and pipe diameter of any size and all position.
- Capable of selecting the appropriate tools, materials, and gas ratios as per the different requirements.
- Preparing metals and work surfaces to ensure safe and effective assemblage.
- Competent in preparing both metals and work surfaces for the relevant production process.
- Competent in measuring, cutting, and drilling materials to meet the specifications of the project.
- Testing the strength of each join during and after project completion.
- Diagnosing issues and troubleshooting as required.
- Measure, cut, gouge, install, & manipulate stainless steel fabrication and install as required.
- Maintain equipment, supplies, materials, & deadlines throughout the project.
- Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements.
- Set up components for welding according to specifications (e.g. cut material with powered saws to match measurements).

**Job qualifications and responsibilities**
- 2 - 2 ½ years of proven experience working as a 6GR FCAW+SMAW welding technician within the Oil and Gas Industry in any GCC country.
- Should possess strong English language skills (Verbal, Reading, Writing).
- Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures.
- Experience in using electrical or manual tools (e.g. saws, squares, callipers etc.).
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
- Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (e.g. face-shield, gloves etc.).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,300.00 per month
