**Job Summary**:
We are looking for a talented and passionate **Demi Chef de Partie (DCDP)** to join our kitchen team, specializing in both **Sushi and Hot Kitchen Operations**. As a DCDP, you will assist the Chef de Partie and other senior kitchen staff in preparing, cooking, and plating exceptional dishes with attention to quality, consistency, and presentation. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong foundation in sushi and hot kitchen cooking techniques to grow and develop in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Sushi Station Operations**:

- Prepare and assemble sushi rolls, sashimi, nigiri, and other Japanese-inspired dishes to the highest standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station.
- Ensure all ingredients for sushi are fresh, and monitor stock levels for timely ordering and restocking.
- Work efficiently to deliver sushi dishes with speed and precision during peak hours.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure the smooth flow of orders.
- **Hot Kitchen Support**:

- Assist in the preparation and cooking of hot dishes, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely, including fryers, grills, and stoves.
- Work in accordance with the restaurant's menu standards and seasonal changes.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Assist in managing inventory, including the rotation of ingredients, to minimize waste.
- **Team Collaboration**:

- Communicate effectively with chefs, line cooks, and other kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Mentor and assist junior kitchen staff as needed, offering guidance and support.
- Contribute ideas to menu development and presentation improvements.
- Be proactive in problem-solving and troubleshooting kitchen challenges.
- **Quality Control**:

- Ensure that all dishes meet the restaurant’s standards for quality, taste, and presentation.
- Take responsibility for maintaining high hygiene and food safety standards at all times.
- Inspect ingredients before use, ensuring freshness and proper storage.
- **Customer Satisfaction**:

- Ensure that all orders are prepared and served to customer satisfaction.
- Assist in ensuring that food is served at the correct temperature, promptly, and without errors.

**Key Requirements**:

- Proven experience working in sushi and hot kitchens, preferably in a fine dining or fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Japanese cooking techniques, sushi preparation, and the hot kitchen fundamentals.
- Basic knowledge of food safety, kitchen equipment, and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Passion for cooking and a keen eye for detail and presentation.
- A positive, energetic attitude and a commitment to quality.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Culinary school diploma or equivalent training.
- Previous experience as a DCDP or Commis Chef in a similar setting.
- Knowledge of current food trends and sushi techniques.
