**Legal Assistant - Contracts & Debt Settlement**

**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented **Legal Assistant** with strong skills in contract drafting and legal document preparation. A key part of the role will also involve communicating with delinquent parties to attempt amicable settlements before pursuing litigation.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Draft, review, and revise various types of contracts and legal documents.
- Prepare settlement agreements, notices, and formal legal correspondence.
- Contact delinquent parties to negotiate payment settlements and avoid litigation.
- Maintain accurate records of communication and settlement efforts.
- Assist senior lawyers with case preparation and legal research when necessary.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Law, Legal Studies, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in legal drafting, especially contracts and settlements.
- Strong understanding of commercial contracts and debt collection processes.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive matters professionally and tactfully.

**Preferred**:

- Previous experience in a law firm or corporate legal department.
- Knowledge of litigation processes related to debt recovery.
