**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Arc Welding**: Perform arc welding using various techniques such as Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), and Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW).
- **Fabrication**: Interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications to fabricate metal parts and assemblies. Measure, cut, and shape metal using tools such as saws, shears, and plasma cutters.
- **Assembly**: Assemble and weld components to form structures or subassemblies, ensuring precision and adherence to project requirements.
- **Material Preparation**: Prepare surfaces and components for welding by grinding, cleaning, and removing any contaminants.
- **Quality Control**: Inspect welds for strength, integrity, and conformance to project standards. Repair or modify structures as needed to meet quality guidelines.
- **Equipment Maintenance**: Maintain and operate welding equipment, including adjusting settings, changing consumables, and conducting basic maintenance to ensure proper functionality.
- **Safety Compliance**: Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure a safe working environment.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with engineers, project managers, and other team members to meet deadlines and project goals.

**Qualifications**:

- **Experience**: Minimum [X] years of experience in arc welding and fabrication, preferably in construction or manufacturing settings.
- **Certification**: Welding certification (e.g., AWS, ASME) is preferred but optional.
