**1.** **Responsibilities
**The Training and Development Manager is responsible for improving the productivity of the

organization's employees. This position assesses company-wide developmental needs to drive training

initiatives and identifies and arranges suitable training solutions for employees. This position actively

searches, creatively designs and implements effective methods to educate, enhance performance and

recognize performance.

**2.** **Job Tasks:
**Your main responsibilities will include:

- Ensure the Company meet its objectives by developing & implementing high impact learning &
development programs in line with business needs and priorities
- Establish strong partnerships with the business to gain a strong understanding of current business

issues and opportunities, as related to learning and development
- Conduct organisational needs analysis and creating training plans to ensure that all employees

have the required competencies to excel in their roles
- Review and revise course materials to ensure they are in line with operating processes,

procedures and systems
- Delivering training to various parts of the business and working with various stakeholders to

coordinate and organise training sessions
- Collect feedback of completed training to evaluate and measure results and making improvements

where required
- Monitor the success of development plans and help employees make the most of learning

opportunities
- Conduct the train the trainer workshops to ensure training scalability and effectiveness
- Managing the Learning & Development budget
- Organize e-learning courses? workshops and other trainings

**3.** **Qualifications and Experience**:

- BSc or BA degree in chemistry, biology or related field
- 2+ years' experience of working on a L&D Manager? Training Manager or other relevant position
- Experience of designing and delivering training
- Significant experience with effective learning and development methods
- Experience in project management and budgeting
- Good knowledge of e-learning platforms and practices
- Practical experience with MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills? with a good ability to build relations with

employees and stakeholders;
- Strong organizational skills with business-oriented thinking
- Experience of monitoring, analysis and reporting on training
- Conducting Training Needs analysis and commissioning training
- Experience of working with a range of stakeholders to successfully deliver programs of work
- License or Certificates: CPLP.

**4.** **Knowledge**:

- Strong Analytical Chemistry knowledge with and clear understanding of analytical instruments

and their principles
- Strong experience in biological testing including PCR,
- Proficient use of a range of specialized software and programs.**
