This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their seats.
- Present menus, answer questions about the menu and provide recommendations upon request.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously, following restaurant standards.
- Monitor tables to ensure guests have a positive dining experience and promptly address any needs or concerns.
- Process bills, handle payments, and provide correct change.
- Clear tables, set up dining areas, and ensure a clean and organized environment.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, such as setting up tables, restocking supplies, and cleaning.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders.
- Be knowledgeable about daily specials, menu items, and promotions to inform and engage guests.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a Waiter/Waitress or in a similar customer service role is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks efficiently.
- Attention to detail and commitment to providing high-quality service.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic math skills for handling payments and making change.
- Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays of food and beverages for extended periods.
Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
