**About the Job**

As a **Systems Analyst**, you will oversee and maintain IT systems, including virtual environments, storage solutions, and backup appliances. You will ensure system availability and reliability, diagnose and resolve technical issues, and collaborate with stakeholders to implement enhancements and upgrades. Your role will also include monitoring system performance, generating reports, and supporting projects related to security and infrastructure improvements.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage and maintain **Red Hat Linux Servers** (RHEL 6, 7, 8) in virtual environments.
- Oversee **SAN and NAS storage environments**, including Dell EMC Unity 550, Isilon H400/A200, and SAN switches.
- Administer **Oracle Exadata Engineered Systems**, including servers, storage, IB switches, and ZFS backup storage.
- Monitor and manage **Veritas NetBackup environments**, including appliances and tape libraries.
- Support **virtual infrastructure environments** such as Microsoft Hyper-V and VMM Console.
- Ensure system availability and reliability, adhering to organizational requirements.
- Assist in developing functional and technical specifications for systems, storage, and backup solutions.
- Plan, install, configure, and maintain IT systems, collaborating with third-party vendors as required.
- Perform and support system testing, upgrades, and updates.
- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support to resolve IT system-related issues effectively.
- Monitor Linux servers, storage, backup systems, and Oracle Engineered System components.
- Respond to service requests and incidents related to Linux servers, storage, and backup environments.
- Generate monthly reports on backup, storage, and tape media usage.
- Review technical solutions for new storage projects, including blackboard video archiving.
- Participate in security enhancement projects, such as **Manage Engine PAM360**.
- Create and update IT operational procedures to ensure documentation accuracy.

**Qualifications**

**Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Master’s degree preferred.

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 5 years in a Systems Analyst role with a proven track record in managing IT systems.

**Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in managing **Red Hat Linux environments**.
- Extensive experience with **SAN/NAS storage environments** (Dell EMC Unity, Isilon).
- Hands-on experience with **Oracle Exadata Engineered Systems**.
- Expertise in **Veritas NetBackup solutions**, including DR storage and tape libraries.
- Familiarity with **virtual infrastructure environments** (Microsoft Hyper-V).
- Strong understanding of system monitoring, upgrades, and technical troubleshooting.

Pay: AED10,000.00 per month
