**About the Position**:
We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and energetic individual to join a family as a live-in English teacher and babysitter for our hyperactive children. This role combines English language teaching with caregiving duties, creating a positive learning environment that encourages both education and emotional growth.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **English Language Teaching**:

- Plan and conduct daily English language lessons tailored to each child’s learning level and needs.
- Use interactive, play-based methods to engage children in vocabulary building, reading, and conversational English.
- Support language development through storytelling, songs, games, and other creative activities.
- **Childcare and Supervision**:

- Oversee daily routines, including meal times, nap times, playtimes, and other scheduled activities.
- Engage in active play with the children, directing their energy in constructive ways.
- Help children develop social and emotional skills, encouraging positive communication and self-control.
- **Activity Planning and Behavioral Support**:

- Design and lead structured activities that cater to hyperactive tendencies and promote focus (e.g., outdoor games, arts and crafts, hands-on learning projects).
- Employ techniques and tools to help the children manage their energy, including mindfulness exercises, physical activities, and creative expression.
- Provide guidance on emotional regulation and patience-building skills in a compassionate and age-appropriate manner.
- **Household Support**:

- Assist with light household duties related to the children, such as tidying play areas and organizing educational materials.
- Work in coordination with the parents to establish and maintain routines that support the children's development and well-being.

**Qualifications**:

- **Required**:

- **Experience** working with hyperactive or high-energy children, ideally in an educational or caregiving capacity.
- **Fluency in English**, with strong communication skills to facilitate language learning.
- **Patience and adaptability**, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution.
- **Creativity and enthusiasm** for designing engaging, educational, and fun activities.
- **Preferred**:

- **Degree or certification** in Early Childhood Education, Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL/TEFL), or Child Psychology.
- **Experience with behavioral management techniques** for young children.
- **Basic First Aid and CPR certification** (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
- **Language proficiency** in Chinese Mandarin
