CNC Programmer

LIN SCAN is looking for an experienced **CNC Programmer**who will be responsible to set up program, operate and trouble shoot CNC lathes and mills without assistance and Prepare library for all design with proper index.

**Key Responsibilities & Authorities**
- Set up program, operate and trouble shoot CNC lathes and mills without assistance.
- Prepare library for all design with proper index
- Prepare daily plan for CNC machine work
- Read and interpret 3D drawing and IGES File
- Properly and safely loads and unloads castings and raw materials in CNC machinery
- Uses gauges and others measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements
- Ability to set up, programs, operate and troubleshoot CNC lathes and mills without assistant. Must be self-sufficient.
- Ability to reduce setup time and machining through process improvements
- Must be proficient with FANUC controls
- Understands, interprets and edits FANUC G-code programming
- Recognize, deploys and properly uses inserts, fixtures and tooling
- Understands and gas the ability to perform tool wear offsets
- Performs daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on CNC machinery
- Assist in the organization and maintenance of the machine shop work environment
- Provides constant feedback and input unto the process improvement within the department
- Utilizes and abides by ISO requirements and safety procedures
- Complies with all quality policies, specifications, regulations and instructions
- Attends schedules meeting and actively participates by providing meaningful inputs
- Is flexible with the time and schedule to assure availability to company as circumstances
- Communicates honestly, professionally and respectfully with others and demonstrate effective listening skills
- Prepares library for all design with proper index

**Skills/Experience**:

- High school diploma or higher from technical specialization
- Minimum 4 - 5 years’ experience in CNC programming
- Strong CNC machining background
- Experience of working with different materials: stainless steel, aluminum and castings
- Knowledge of CNC milling, lathe & drilling machines operations
- Open minded, Good Listener
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge of computer and MS software
- Fluency in the English language, working knowledge of other languages is a plus

**Physical and Mental Requirements**:

- Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Mobility: Must be able to walk and climb to perform duties, including maneuvering within a refinery or plant environment and accessing elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells.
- Communication: Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing, or other communication capabilities, to communicate effectively.
- Focus and Multitasking: Ability to maintain focus and multitask effectively.
- Safety Equipment: Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection, if/where needed in manufacturing environments.
- Personal Mobility and Reflexes: Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, with or without reasonable accommodations, to perform office duties and travel to off-site locations when necessary.
