What you will do
Logistics Coordinator is a role reporting to the Logistics Manager, MEA and is responsible for Coordinating with Internal and External stakeholders to handle the Logistics & Distribution (L&D) functions for MEA Region. You will be based in our Dubai / Abu Dhabi Office and will be part of an emergent team that is passionate about rapidly growing our footprint and customer base to achieve our strong growth objectives.
How you will do it
As a Logistics Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to safeguard the timely shipment of equipment to fulfil the organization's contractual obligations. You will train on various aspects of logistics management, including the proper documentation required for shipments. Your role will also involve optimizing transportation methods to achieve the optimal balance between speed and cost-effectiveness. By effectively coordinating and managing logistics operations, you will contribute to the smooth flow of goods and services, ultimately ensuring customer satisfaction and meeting the company's contractual commitments.
You will play a crucial role in coordinating with vendors, suppliers, sub-contractors, shipping companies, and freight forwarders to guarantee timely delivery of equipment and/or services. Your interpersonal skills will be important as you provide clear and detailed information to Sales Engineers, Operations, and Customer Service teams regarding delivery schedules, documentation requirements, negotiation status, and other relevant updates. Additionally, you will be responsible for organizing import, export, and customs clearance arrangements with customs brokers and forwarders abroad. Your expertise in running these logistics processes will chip in to the smooth and efficient flow of operations, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
You possess a strong desire for organization and efficiency, coupled with a creative and problem-solving attitude. Your self-motivation allows you to thrive under stress and pressure, making you an excellent coordinator and planner. Your ability to think creatively enables you to find innovative solutions to challenges that may arise. With your outstanding coordination and planning skills, you ensure smooth and streamlined operations.
What we look for
Required
A degree in commerce/logistics or a diploma in logistics administration.
Fresh graduates or individuals with 0-2 years of experience in shipping/logistics/sales administration/order processing.
Strong attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt to the working styles of both stakeholders.
Outstanding written and oral communication skills in English.
Proven track record to meet demanding deadlines.
Effective multitasking and time management skills.
