**Job Title**: Legal and Compliance Manager/Officer - FMCG Trading

**Department**:Legal & Compliance

**Position Overview**:A summary emphasizing the role's responsibility for ensuring compliance across the company's diverse portfolio of oil and rice trading activities, mitigating legal risk, and safeguarding the company's licenses to operate.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Develop, implement, and maintain the company's overall compliance framework.

Monitor and ensure adherence to all relevant industry-specific regulations (drawing from the table above).

Manage and prepare all necessary permits, certificates, and documentation for both business verticals.

Conduct internal audits and risk assessments for compliance with trade, environmental, health, and safety regulations.

Liaise with government agencies, third-party auditors, and external legal counsel.

Provide training to employees on compliance policies and procedures.

**Qualifications & Experience**:
Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) or Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree. A master's degree is a plus.

Proven experience (6-8 years) in a legal/compliance role within the FMCG Trading sector.

Specific experience with oil and rice regulations and agricultural/food safety standards is highly desirable.

In-depth knowledge of international trade compliance, including import/export controls and customs regulations.

Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

**Reporting Line**:This role would typically report to the Head of Legal & Compliance Manager

**Benefits**: Visa, Medical

**Salary**:

- 12K-14K

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED12,000.00 - AED14,000.00 per month
