Position: Dental Receptionist
Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates, AL warqa
**Responsibilities**:
1. Greet patients warmly and professionally, creating a welcoming atmosphere at the front desk.
2. Schedule appointments efficiently, considering patient preferences and dental staff availability.
3. Manage patient records and ensure they are accurately updated and maintained in the system.
4. Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries promptly and courteously.
5. Handle patient check-ins and check-outs, processing payments and insurance claims when necessary.
6. Verify insurance coverage and coordinate with insurance providers to ensure smooth billing procedures.
7. Maintain a tidy and organized reception area, including managing patient forms and informational materials.
8. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a seamless patient experience and efficient workflow.
9. Follow up with patients on appointment reminders and other communication as needed.
10. Assist with general administrative tasks to support the dental office operations.
**Requirements**:
1. Proven experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar customer-facing role.
2. Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and dental software systems.
3. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients and staff effectively.
4. Strong organizational abilities to manage appointment schedules and patient records accurately.
5. Familiarity with insurance procedures and claims processing in the UAE is a plus.
6. Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is advantageous but not mandatory.
7. Ability to handle multiple tasks and remain composed in a fast-paced environment.
8. Friendly, empathetic, and patient-oriented approach to ensure positive patient experiences.
