**Job Title**: Internal Auditor - Market Research Functions

Job Details:
In a UAE Bank or Large sized Bank from other countries

**Salary**: Competitive compensation tailored to your current package and experience

**Qualifications**:Degree in Economics, Finance, Management, Mathematics or similar, Post-graduate or Master degree in Markets, Financial Instruments or Finance is strongly preferred, A professional qualification in Market Risk Analysis/Management would be an added advantage

**Domain Experience /Skills**: Minimum 5 years in the Market Risk Department of a Bank holding a junior managerial/supervisor level position, Highly numerate with strong data analysis academic experience, Develop and maintain the production of regular MI to support the monitoring and evaluation of market risk Key Risk Indicators, Surveillance of Treasury activities to ensure compliance with approved parameters for trading and the banking book, Reporting of market risk exposures derived from treasury activities, Development, validation, research, and other data analytics tasks, Measurement of the market risk appetite parameters, portfolio composition, trends and concentrations and report of breaches where relevant, Liaise with other departments of the Bank as required such as origination, market and credit risk, regulatory compliance, and finance, Assess new regulatory policies and their impact on market risk exposures, Back-testing Value-at-Risk to profit or loss to ensure effectiveness of the model, Experience in preparation of committee materials and other reports related to the Bank’s market risk exposure, Knowledge of implementation and performing data quality controls of the market data captured by the Risk system, Participation in the market risk capital requirements calculation process under current regulatory frameworks, Participation in the implementation of the new IRRBB framework requirements and internal governance, and in the regulatory submission processes, Good understanding of Market Risk concepts and metrics (VaR, EVE/NII, scenario analysis, risk sensitivities, etc.), Good understanding of Capital Market activities and main instruments is desirable, Experience in auditing of market risk functions would be an added advantage, Effective Communication Skills including the ability to document and present results suitable for relevant audiences, Strong analytical skills
