**Educational Degree**:
Masters in Pulmonology / MD /Board certified.

**Qualifications**:

- 5 years of hospital experience.
- Arabic speaking will be an advantage.

**Responsibilities**:

- Diagnosis and treatment of chest or lung problems including; asthma, COPD, sleep disorders, lung cancer, pulmonary fibrosis (interstitial lung diseases), chest infections, bronchiectasis, smoking cessation, pulmonary hypertension, etc.
- Work as a part of a team that includes other doctors, nurses, therapists, and medical technologists.
- Handling emergencies besides the ICU when required.
- Checks records, charts, and reports of the patient.
- Take rounds of the ward/ICU to check on the patient’s progress.
- Counseling patients and their families as regards attitude/psychology, medication/ treatment/ precautions to be taken/ risk factors, diet and nutrition/ exercises, etc.
- Attending conferences, seminars, and conventions to gain and contribute knowledge and expertise.
