**Assistant nurses required in a dental setting to supports the dental nurse and dentist with various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the clinic.**

Minimum Requirement: Bachelor's degree Graduate with attested diploma

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
**1. Patient Care**
- Prepare patients for dental procedures.
- Assist patients in and out of the dental chair.
- Provide comfort and reassurance to patients, especially those who are anxious.

**2. Preparation and Sterilization**
- Assist in setting up the dental operatory before procedures.
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment.
- Ensure that all necessary supplies are available and organized.

**3. Support During Procedures**
- Pass instruments and materials to the dental nurse or dentist during procedures.
- Operate suction devices and retractors.
- Assist in mixing dental materials as needed.

**4. Administrative Duties**
- Update patient records and charts with relevant information.
- Schedule follow-up appointments and manage the dental clinic’s appointment calendar.
- Handle patient inquiries and assist with billing and insurance claims if needed.

**5. Post-Procedure Care**
- Clean and disinfect the operatory after each patient.
- Prepare instruments for sterilization.
- Provide patients with post-procedure instructions and ensure they understand them.

**6. Inventory Management**
- Monitor and maintain inventory of dental supplies.
- Report any shortages or needs to the dental nurse or office manager.

**7. Communication**
- Liaise between patients, dental nurses, and dentists to ensure clear communication.
- Coordinate with other healthcare professionals if the patient requires additional care.

**8. Health and Safety Compliance**
- Ensure that all procedures comply with health and safety regulations.
- Follow protocols for infection control and hazardous materials.

**9. Education and Training**
- Assist in educating patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay updated with the latest dental practices and techniques.

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
