**Quantity Surveyor - Job Description**
- Analyze and review the project drawings, material specs, 3D visuals and extracting into BOQ, Estimating and cost control and managing full tender process.
- Estimate quantities, surface areas, volumes, etc. and perform all quantity take-offs for our assigned scope of work which includes architectural elements and non-standard shapes and forms.
- Develops bid cost estimates for the specified deadlines for submission. Manages the bid calendar to ensure that company is complying with its commitments
- Compile the project BOQ with description based on the quantity take-offs.
- Interpreting specifications, price project, and preparation of contract documents, drawings, project documents, quantities and estimates.
- Developing client relationships to enhance opportunities to tender, negotiate, enhance project margins and define requirements, scope and objectives.
- Analysis of labor and material rates (fixed and variable) to aid in costing, pricing, and analysis of direct and indirect costs for BOQ items. Coordinating with suppliers and subcontractor and getting quote with best prices.
- Preparation of a comparison sheet for subcontractor quotations in order to compare prices. Maintaining supplier / subcontractor database and consistently seek new companies to pre
- qualify for inclusion on project list.
- Cost Estimation for all Fit-out & Joinery items.
- Identifying scope for design alternatives and value engineering.
- Attending site surveys when required. Ensuring that all risks are highlighted to stakeholders and attending to post project negotiations with clients.
- Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests.
