Internal Auditor

The Internal Auditor provide guidance on financial accuracy, internal controls and regulatory compliance in order to examine and improve operating practices, policies and procedures to be in line with the financial and administrative system of the Dubai Government to achieve governance and to ensure the use of available resources effectively.
- Propose a periodic and annual monitoring plan and implement it after being approved by the School Board of Trustees.
- Ensuring the extent of commitment to implementing administrative, financial and operational procedures and their compliance with the decisions, regulations, decisions, and circulars issued by the Dubai government, and submitting them to the MBRSG Board of Trustees.
- Preparing and updating the authority matrix, as needed, and approving it from the MBRSG leadership.
- Ensure that authorizations granted to all administrative practices are properly implemented.
- Checking compliance with applicable laws and legislations and reporting gaps, if any.
- Monitor and follow up on the implementation of the submitted audit recommendations and determine the efficiency of corrective actions taken by internal departments.
- Providing recommendations and solutions for improving operations, managing risks and developing weaknesses in oversight.
- Provide advice and opinion on audits of suspected fraudulent activities to reduce the incidence of fraud.
- Detecting fraud and violations by managing the risk of fraud, identifying and evaluating indicators of fraud, taking the necessary measures and notifying the board of directors of the results.
- Reporting violations within the School if they are discovered and recommending an internal investigation.
- Coordination with external auditors and relevant government agencies.
- Monitor the scholarship program, grants, and all non-governmental grants and grants awarded to the School.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by the Board of Trustees.
**المؤهلات و المهارات**
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited university.
3+ years’ experience in internal auditing, preferably with Fraud Auditing experience and Accreditation with the Institute of Internal Auditors.
